What's going on in April for Danish Kendo?

Shinshikan, Hernings kendo club, participated in a youth expo to get more children interested in kendo.

Togyushikai, Aalborg’s kendo club, had an exciting visit from Yukio Kato, the head of Goshikan, and a couple national team members.





Kilikai, Frederiksbergs kendo club, held a bogu test for three of their members, who all passed. Congratulations to them!

Kenseikai, Copenhagen’s kendo club participated in the yearly cherry blossom festival in the capital, as one of the performing Japanese clubs.



Goshikan, Nordfyn’s kendo club arranged an overnight visit to Koan dojo in Hamburg, with mandatory participation for the national team and a number of friends of the club from Shushikan, Horsens kendo club and others.



DKF finished putting together new versions of the ikkyu, shodan and nidan menjo as well as made great progress on developing iaido in Denmark.

June 10-11 Sumer Camp in Næstved, a collaboration between the three Sjælland clubs

June 30-July 2nd Summer Camp in Bogense, hosted by Nordfyn kendo.
